This past weekend, Ghostbusters Northern Ireland returned to Comic Con NI with our most ambitious setup to date—and it was nothing short of incredible.

We unveiled several exciting new additions to our display, including a fully upgraded moving Slimer, a detailed recreation of Egon’s lab, Janine’s desk, and two towering Playmobil display figures of Egon Spengler and Stay Puft. The response from attendees was overwhelming, and it was a joy to see so many fans engaging with the set, snapping photos, and sharing their love for the franchise.

One of the highlights of the weekend was welcoming our sister group, Ghostbusters Dublin, who joined us for the event. Their presence added a fantastic energy to the experience, and it was a real pleasure to collaborate and share the space with them. We’re already looking forward to teaming up again for future events.

Beyond the props and displays, what truly made this Comic Con special was the people. We met countless passionate fans, many of whom were suited up in incredible Ghostbusters cosplay. The sense of community and shared enthusiasm was palpable throughout the weekend.

This was, without question, our best Comic Con yet. We’re proud of what we achieved, grateful for the support, and honoured to spend the weekend with the amazing individuals who make up our group. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, chatted with us, and helped make the event unforgettable.
