From battling imaginary ghosts to swapping behind-the-scenes tips on crafting the perfect jumpsuit, we’ve become more than friends—we’re a community. Ghostbusters Northern Ireland was founded on the 2nd of December 2019 by Mark as a Facebook page looking for members to join a new Ghostbusters franchise based in Northern Ireland.

It wasn’t until 2023 when things final took off when our membership count exploded and in May that same year we finally had our first official event as a group.

In 2023, we took a bold step forward by launching our Cadet Program, welcoming young members aged 11 to 17 into our ranks. These budding paranormal investigators learned the ropes, honed their slime-slinging skills, and became an integral part of our growing family.

So here’s to our past, our present, and our future—where every day feels like a scene straight out of the movies. We’re not just busting ghosts; we’re building lasting friendships and creating memories that will echo across dimensions. Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters NI—your family of spook-chasing, slime-loving, world-saving misfits!

At Ghostbusters Northern Ireland, our proton packs aren’t just for show—they’re also powerful tools for making a positive impact. Our main charity partner is the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, an organization that provides essential care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. We’re passionate about their mission, and at every event we attend, we channel our ghostbusting energy into raising funds for this vital cause.

But that’s not all. We believe in spreading the love beyond our own spectral realm. Through our initiative called Charity Support, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with other groups and individuals who are championing their own charitable endeavors. Whether it’s a local bake sale, a marathon, or a community event, we’re there, lending our jumpsuit-clad support and encouraging donations.
