Ghostbusters Northern Ireland embarked on an epic adventure across Northern Ireland, all in the name of proton packs and slime! On Saturday, March 23, 2024, we crisscrossed Northern Ireland, visiting not one, not two, but five cinemas—all in celebration of the “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” movie launch.

Our journey began in the picturesque town of Coleraine, where the Movie House awaited. Fans queued up, their excitement palpable. We swapped stories of favorite ghosts, debated the merits of Ecto Cooler, and reveled in our shared love for all things spectral.

Next stop: Maghera! The Movie House doors swung open, and there we were—jumpsuits, proton packs, and all. The crowd cheered, and we high-fived our fellow busters. Who knew that slime could bring people together like this?

Onward to Glengormly, where the cinema buzzed with anticipation. We met fans who’d traveled from far and wide, their eyes shining with nostalgia. And yes, we posed for photos—because when you’re a Ghostbuster, every moment is a photo op.

City Side beckoned, and Belfast welcomed us with open arms. Our Ecto-10 parked outside the cinema drew curious glances. Inside, we mingled with fellow spook-chasers, shared tips on trapping Slimer, and reveled in the joy of being part of a global family.

Our grand finale? The Strand Arts Centre! The red carpet rolled out, and we strutted our stuff. Fans marveled at our jumpsuits, asked about our proton packs, and laughed as we reenacted classic scenes.

As the day drew to a close, we reflected on the magic of it all. We’d met fellow Ghostbusters from all corners of Northern Ireland, shared laughs, and created memories that would echo across dimensions.
