Dont have cosplay but want to take part? Join the support crew

Welcome to the Support Crew

At Ghostbusters Northern Ireland, the Support Crew plays a pivotal role in the seamless execution of our events. These dedicated individuals may not don the iconic costumes, but their contribution is no less significant. They are the unsung heroes working diligently behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly. From handling the essential task of carrying charity buckets to managing finances, they are adept at a multitude of responsibilities. Their keen eye for capturing moments makes them our unofficial photographers, preserving memories that last a lifetime.

Assisting members in cosplay, they ensure that our front-line ambassadors are always at their best, ready to engage with the public and bring smiles to faces. The Support Crew’s involvement is integral to every event, matching the participation level of those in full gear. They are the backbone of our group, providing support that is as crucial as that of the senior members and cadets. Their presence is a testament to the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that defines us.

In essence, the Support Crew is the glue that holds us together, embodying the core values of Ghostbusters Northern Ireland: community, charity, and passion. They may not wear a proton pack, but they carry the weight of the event on their shoulders, ensuring that every aspect is taken care of. Whether it’s guiding the crowd, troubleshooting on the spot, or simply being there to lend a hand, their versatility and dedication are unparalleled.

They are the quiet force that propels us forward, and their role is as dynamic as it is indispensable. At every event, they are there, steadfast and reliable, making sure that our mission to entertain and serve the community is accomplished. Without the Support Crew, Ghostbusters Northern Ireland wouldn’t be the well-oiled machine it is today. They are truly our unsung heroes, and we are immensely grateful for their commitment and hard work.

We do ask for a minimum of one event every six months, however all circumstances are taken into account if this is not met.

How long till I officialy join?

All members are asked to take part in 3 events or socials before their application to join is approved.

This is to make sure that the potential member and the rest of the group are a good fit for each other and that everyone gets along.

Friendship is the core part of our group.
